Congress has no law enforcement authority or jurisdiction.  All Congress can do is make referrals to the DoJ.  I would be surprised if there is any kind of action taken by DoJ against President Trump.  To date I haven't heard anything except speculation, hearsay, and innuendo from the Jan. 6th committee.  If they had actually found any real evidence that he broke a law I think we would have all heard about it by now.  But that's not the point of the Jan. 6th hearings.

Why not?

The office of president should be open to any and every citizen of the USA, regardless of occupation (as long as they're born in the USA and 35 or older, per the Constitution, of course).

I think we should carve out an exemption for the born in the USA thing and term limits and just make Elon Musk President for life.

Whatevs. I'd take Trump over any President we've had since Bush I. Clinton admin set the stage for NATO expansion (hello Ukraine war!), deregulation of finance/housing crash, W was a literal disaster, Obama was a wolf in sheep clothing who was a puppet of Wall Street and the security state, and Biden is on track to be maybe the worst President in modern history- he's on track to be right up there with Jimmy Carter and W.
