it isn't the 'arriving wokeness' that's the problem, if you are to refer to 'this' generation just entering.. that shit can be shook free and clean in the 12 weeks of basic.

the ranks above- those that don't comply are sent packing. the sheer volume of CO's, XO's and SGTMJR's being 'fired' is astounding... more than that, over the last decade there has been a purge of leadership- those with anything less than the appreciated political views are wiped, where as those remaining fill the vacuum above them. the sequestration under obama relieved a great many of these 'types', and in the mid range 'field' grade.. guess who's flag officers now? .... a: those 'compliant', and they're focused on "woke" and believe anyone who voted for trump a domestic terrorist aka white supremacists'.

we're not going to make it as a nation, together, that much longer. we're focused on tribal freaking class angst and money, all while those set to keep us apart laugh their asses off. evidence enough is the absolute attention and focus on social contracts, which is far outside of legislators or even justices jurisdiction- why are they focusing on it? to keep us at war... together, and with time between crisis's to catch our breath, 'they' get thrown in jail or tossed on some barren island in the north atlantic... but instead, they 'rule' over us... the military was a problem for them for years... it is quickly becoming an asset.

If the two parties actually worked and compromised to get things done, they'd alienate their motivated bases to right and left, and leave those in the middle rather apathetic. To get money and volunteers, they need us INCENSED at those bastards on the other side, so both make excuses why they don't pass any sensible legislation. That gets everyone mad and motivated, and the two parties get what they want.

There is ample compromise available, it would disappoint some, but most would think "Well, OK, we got this and gave that", but then we'd not be donating and whatever else.

i used to believe the bizarre positions of the left were a negotiating ploy in effort to drag the belligerent right to where they actually wanted them.... but that either brought the crazies out else they really are that crazy. at this point? they're effin nuts, end of story.

meanwhile, the states allowed the feds too much control and did so by naming their price- SOLD.... try to buck the feds? they'll pull funding... funding that, curiously enough, arrived in their coffers FROM the states... go friggin' figure.

i wish i agreed with you on that.

the left- until very recently- was unified... the right has always been discombobulated with those damn near left (rino's) and those that should be likely on a watch list rather than drafting or passing laws. the left is truly crazy right now. literally....

20 years ago my granddad, ripped from the grave an reanimated would have demanded to know who those people on the left are? he'd recognize those on the right as democrats... now? he'd recognize none of it except by title.

seriously, we're talking and debating, hating and fighting over race, over what plumbing you have as opposed to what plumbing you say you have..

hell, man... we can't even determine anymore if police are good guys are not... the left doesn't want you to think so. they are all about rioting and burning cities down to make their statement- encouraging it loudly..... but Jan6? THAT, y'all, was an i-n-s-u-r-r-e-c-t-i-o-n..... and a bold face lie... it is/was no better or no worse than the lunacy in the streets all summer.

Because when it comes to the politicians, it's reversed. The Dems lose all the time because they're branching out in all different directions in search of another tiny group that's being marginalized. Meanwhile, all the Rs fall in line behind the head turtle from Kentucky.

Im extremely conservative I've made no secret of, however, you, me, or anyone else in good legal standing and an adult in age has the right in this republic to decide on your own what you support and I'll actually bleed or make someone bleed to support that even if we disagree on an individual level.

But you (and i) mentioned party's.

I despise party's. De-spise. Theyre nothing but gangs. Theyre gangs that do far more damage and about as much good as street gangs or organized crime.

We've been duped. Some of us want to stay that way.

Though the American gun-smith was an amazing craftsman, keep in mind that he learned his skill from European masters who had spent years in apprenticeship. German and Swiss firearms were considered superior, and the American rifle was derived and enhanced from these weapons.
