And all of that other stuff, back in the day.

iPhone, Netflix, Doordash, $75 haircuts/purple hair, Starbucks, tats, etc.

You forgot those parts.

I've never been to Starbucks, don't have tats, get my haircut at Great Clips, no iPhone, never used Doordash, only got Netflix one time for Christmas Day football.

I have a brother who always complains about being broke he and does/has all of that shit broke people do/have. Recently he was going on about not being able to afford a house and I asked him if he really needed that brand new Rubicon. WTF? That turned out to be a short conversation.

Me?

We're in pretty great $$$ shape.

There are reasons for that. We are very conservative with money is the main one.
Your ignorance and obsession with anecdotal data is staggering.

(so, so sorry to interrupt the echo chamber, fellas)

It's not anecdotal when it's all over the country.

Wake up.

Please be advised that the G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting will be held at the Loews Hotel Conference Center on October 30 and 31. As a result, significant road closures, access restrictions, and enhanced security measures will be in place throughout the surrounding area.

Please review the following impacts:
Road Closures & Access Restrictions
12th Street
  • Closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic between Peachtree Street and Juniper Street
  • Effective October 29 through October 31
Juniper Street
  • Closed between 14th Street and 12th Street
  • Enhanced security screening will be in place on Juniper Street between 14th Street and 10th Street
Peachtree Street
  • Residents should expect intermittent closures throughout the event

Read about the Aikman/Buck feud this morning. On the one hand, I basically don't care. On the other, wow, I had no idea those guys get paid as much as they do ($15M to upwards of $35M/year). That is wild.

According to the Daily Mail, Buck's new deal with ESPN will be worth $18 mil per year.  Aikman was asking for $30 mil, but dropped his price down to $18, but ESPN still isn't interested so far.

Also says Romo was making $18 mil/yr before the DUI ousted him.

Says Tom Brady makes $37.5 mil/yr!!! with FOX

Geez, he isn't worth a third of that.

Reportedly, ESPN might be interested in snagging Greg Olsen from FOX to do MNF with Buck moving forward.  I'm not sure how they'd be together, but Olsen is my favorite NFL color commentator.

It's weird how much a name adds $$$.  Any NFL vet can do that job, at least the personable ones can.  But random OL X isn't famous.  So they're saying they get more eyeballs due to name recognition.

What kind of football fan is watching due to name recognition of the announcer?  All of it is absurd.
