It made me realize how many frauds there are out there in the world, selling misinformation. Such as Candace Owens and some of their ilk. Alex Jones is the other one that was super popular.
You take something that is somewhat complicated, throw a bunch of simple sounding explanations to prove your right, and all you need is the underlying belief that "they" have been lying about everything, and you've got traction.
I'm still struggling to understand what "they" would gain from making everybody believe the world is round when it's really flat. Who benefits from such a lie?
