What do you do?
I read teleprompters and look pretty.
Would guess that this woman does more than those two things. Unless she is really precocious.

Yes, she's incredibly smart and very focused. Yes, she's attractive and all that, but you don't go from a market like Fort Myers to a market like SF because you can read a teleprompter.

She's also a Gator. I never held that against her.

Those are the exact 2 reasons why you move up in that world.

Careful, Don Henley likely to come after you for posting his tunes.

The Eagles are such ***holes about that.

I've seen some evidence that points towards their songs falling away out of the Gen Z ethos far more steeply than would be expected, given the previous enduring popularity of their songs.  Number of streams on major platforms, mentions.....I forget all the ways people measured it, but it seemed like good metrics.  The main proposed explanations are that the Eagles copyright strike people like Nazis for using their music.  iirc, they don't even let people do tutorials on their music.  Like, there should be 100 videos on YouTube from the major guitar channels teaching people how to play "Hotel California" or "Take It Easy," but I know for a fact those types of channels have given up because even their tutorials--which don't feature the actual song--get copyright claimed.  So, awareness of their music is propagated into this generation a lot less than other bands of their time.

That band, or the powers that be that control their catalog, appear to be stuck in the mindset that any and all use is theft.  They don't seem to realize that they're shooting themselves in the foot and hastening their own relegation into irrelevance.

Don Henley in particular, I've been told by people who would know, is a cranky, cantankerous old fart.  The kind of guy who is a genuinely good friend and nice to his circle of people, but a truly hard guy to get to know and one who generally puts people off before they get to the point where you can see whatever good sides he has.  A real get-off-my-lawn kind of guy.

Makes me even more proud that my GenZ kids are smarter and better than their peers, because they love the Eagles.

As for the rest of the stuff, I really don't give a shit.  I own many of their albums and CDs.  I suppose my streaming subscription pays for whatever amount they charge every time I cue up one of their songs.  And I'm delighted to pay for it.  I'm delighted to pay any and all artists the royalties on what they produced.

I'm not suggesting they shouldn't be paid royalties for streaming their music or that people should get their music free or anything like that.  I do think it's bush-league to copyright strike content creators for the crime of showcasing their music and trying to teach young kids how to play their songs, or have discussions where they listen to piece of it and then comment on what's going on and what they like about it, which is what some music-appreciation channels are all about.

I'd also be interested for you to further detail how you differentiate between what the Eagles do, and Metallica suing Napster users for distributing/collecting their music for free and without consent.  Metallica was effectively doing the same thing The Eagles do.....using the force of law to stop people from listening to their music without paying for it.  I assume there's something else going on that sets the cases apart, in your view.
