Probably knew about this game 1.

Kept it under wraps until a good time to rest him for tougher competition.

Their first two games were at home against FAU and Cincinnati, both blow out wins as expected.  Then at Indiana and Miami(OH), blow out wins.

I think they would have kept him out of two up front if they had the chance to do so.

Are you saying you don't believe they knew about this since last year, and even though they knew what kind of punishment COULD be handed out, decided to roll with the punches in hopes it could be swept under the rug?

I have no idea what anyone knew.  I merely note that it is illogical they knew about it preseason and decided not to suspend him for the first two games and just wait.

That obviously would be illogical and very high risk.  If they knew about it preseason, they could have suspended him THEN at NO COST and gotten it done.  Waiting could mean they had to suspend him with key games looming.

But, I tend not to be paranoid and suspicious and don't think the refs are against me and everyone is out to get me.

What does that have to do with anything? 

Some rambling issues? 

Refs have NEVER been involved in rigging games, and I can assure you, I don't care if anyone is "out to get me", whatever that means, and I'm not paranoid about things. 

You're in the wrong room for that.

The only way this would make any sense is if they swept it under the rug thinking "well, let's just hope nobody ever finds out" and that suddenly someone started opening their mouth about this NOW.

But who would both simultaneously know about this loan and be in a position to want to disclose this loan right now? It would be unlikely Chase Young would be going and bragging about how took a small loan because he had no money, nor would the family friend who gave him the loan want to start blabbing all over town, and get him in trouble.

So it would have to be someone external with an ax to grind, but why would that person even know about the loan? And if they DID know about the loan, why would they start talking about it now instead of CLOSER to the PSU/OSU/B1GCCG timeframe so their damage could be most impactful?

I'm not going to say that I believe the folks in the OSU athletic department are saints. But to assume that this is a conspiracy theory where they've been sitting on this information and just decided NOW to let it fly, when they absolutely DON'T know how many weeks his suspension will last, doesn't make any sense. It doesn't pass the smell test.

No they didn't. 

One of the main reasons UMD left the ACC was because of financial issues.

What Maryland fan said anything different? It was stated in the press conference. If you're referencing me, I must have been drunk. 

And it's always amazing how the subjects change and posters are attacked when stating the obvious, ABOUT THE SUBJECT MATTER!

What if, and let's just play a little devils advocate here, this "family friend", just happened to be a "sports agent"? 

It happened last year. There were talks of infractions last year, no? 

You honestly think they knew nothing about it? Really? 

Remember where he's from. Think about it. Let it seep in. Got it.....?

Okay. Now, let Mr. Know it All find some reference somewhere that gives some semblance of what he portrays that he knows as fact.

Will be interesting to see if this goes on further without the mention of UMD, paranoia and schizophrenia, referees, Obama and Hillary Clinton, etc etc....
