There will be adjustment in the 1st Qtr - loud crowd, opponent with a pulse lead by a proven coach,Fields on the road at nite.Day is well aware and has pointed out Iowa/Purdue the last two years to the team no doubt.I said before UNL has hit some snags and the Bucks haven't so hopefully the law of averages doesn't kick in
Nebraska May very well win, but I don’t think it would be because OSU overlooked them.
the Huskers have experienced a couple dogfights already- and figured out how to will their way to a win. Likely their only game at night at home, and with game day in town...I expect to see their very best performance, maybe all year.
OSU has not experienced a dogfight, a night game on the road and very hostile environment. They have not experienced an explosive offense, multiple players who can take it to the house from all over the field. Fields has not experienced consistent pressure, playing from behind late, or any of that stuff. No, Nebraska has, in my opinion, one of the most creative minds in CFB for a coach, and he will throw everything and the kitchen sink at OSU, with a squad that will be sky high all night.
while the Buckeye players clearly know they are walking into a hornets nest, they also clearly are chomping at the bit to prove themselves in an extremely difficult venue. We will see if they are equipped to to compete at that level. Because, let’s be real, we really don’t know. They will have to grow up fast. Bottom line, they. Could just get beat by a better team Saturday night.
