Harbaugh stoically defeating a Top 10 opponent for first time in a while:

man this is a true beat down. 38-7, probably would be 38-0 if not for that bs PI on Hudson.

Have to think just how big that drop from Ronnie Bell was last week. If he hangs onto that and Michigan forces OT good chance they would’ve pulled the W out.

Imagine them coming off a comeback win in Happy Valley at night and then beating the snot out of ND the next week. They’d have been a top 8 team and Harbaugh would have all that white hot heat off his seat.

Fox will likely choose PSU/Minnie and probably have their B1G tailgate there. I got it wrong too. The game is not until November 9, so, if Bama and LSU are still #1 and #2, ESecPN will certainly be at that one.

Unfortunately....that is likely the case.  However....they have been making a push to get to campuses that they have never been to.  Ames (Iowa State) got their first Gameday this year.  Alabama and LSU basically get Gameday every year....and are featured as the visiting team another couple of times.

Maybe they get it September 19th vs. the Hawkeyes next year if they finish strong and Iowa finishes strong as well.  If they are both ranked preseason, that could certainly be a candidate.  Early season game (week 3), likely to be nice weather, solid rivalry game, playing for Floyd.

But I was really pulling for Auburn to knock off LSU.  Certainly would have improved our chances....because yeah....#1 vs. #2 is difficult to pass on.  I do think, however, that based on the way that they've played, that OSU may hop LSU when the College Football Playoff Rankings come out.  And I'd expect Minnesota to get a nice bump as well.  Fact is....even though it's highly unlikely....if Minnesota were to go undefeated and win the BTCG....the committee couldn't possibly rationalize leaving them out of the playoffs....so at some point they would have to be moved ahead of some of these one loss teams.  Whether that occurs with the first CFP poll or whether it would take a win over PSU for the committee to start making those moves...who knows?  But there's a good possibility that the Bama/LSU game will be #1 vs. #3 instead of #2....which is still a big deal....but not quite as cool.  And it's not crazy to think that the Gophers sneak into the Top 10....which would make that PSU game a really great game.  ESPN has been showing the Gophers lots of love these past few weeks.  Since we haven't had much success as of recently...I think that we're an easy team for other fanbases to root for.  I like seeing the non traditional power teams from other conferences find success.  And the fantastic Casey O'Brien story has made two separate segments on Gameday in the past month or so.  It would give them plenty to talk about.

And LOL!  I just saw this from Fleck's post game presser.  He's straight up calling out ESPN for Gameday.

Pac 12 classic tonight in Eugene.  Lots of stress on refs, with several multi penalty plays some which involved reviews, etc.  Some great plays too.   Ducks with a final chance here, down one in final minute.

IU/UNL a very interesting game. I wonder what Michigan's McCaffrey thinks about his younger brother getting to play as a freshman in Lincoln.

If I'm him, I'm regretting going to Transfer QB University. Heh.
well, QBs #1 and #2 are injured
but, I do like the young McC

the future looks bright

Grover - getting a little ahead of yourself there, even if Bell hangs on it's a tie game with the PAT.Changes PSU's attack also.DPJ had 2 big drops in the 1st half that stalled a drive or two

Wow, next weeks slate is just horrendous.

It will be interesting to see which of the four duds will get highlighted by ELA as the Game of the Week. Nebraska @ Purdue?

It is certainly the one that is most likely to be competitive.

I don’t know man. Seems like Michigan had all the momentum in that 2nd half. The M defense came alive and Patterson got his head out of his ass that 2nd half. I think Ronnie Bell catches that TD pass and the game ties up 28-28, Michigan would’ve been on cloud 9 and feeling confident as hell that the W was there’s. They flat dominated PSU that entire 2nd half.

I was just saying, that drop by Bell was huge. It ended the game. Michigan scores their they at least have a shot in OT with all the momentum on their side. And a Michigan at 7-1 with back to back top 10 wins would’ve shut a lot of the Harbaugh can’t win a big game and all the hot seat talk right up.

Bell didn't deserve that drop. He's been playing his azz off all year. But that's how it goes sometimes.
