Yes. 
It doesn't have to "work out" for anything but giving the B1G a bigger footprint and revenue stream.
Plus, you don't have to negotiate more deals outside of the Big Ten for games.

What's the motive then ... other than to further destroy Delany's legacy once "a la carte" TV programming ends standard cable contracts and the revenue benefit of Maryland drops to zero or less?
