only way Michigan can pull off the upset...this is the formula...

I) Hutchinson & Ojabo need to BOTH go off and play the games of their lives. They need to constantly pressure Stroud.

II) Defense HAS to capitalize on turnover opportunities. (no dropping surefire INT's in this game- looking at you Josh Metellus)

III) Haskins & Corum need to run for about 150 total min - and Haskins needs to grind out those tough 3rd down conversions

IV) McNamara cannot throw any INT's - and he's going to have to be more accurate and release the ball higher- can't have 5 passes batted down this game - and he's got to stop throwing behind WR's.

V) JJ McCarthy & Donovan Edwards both need to make plays. They need to involve Edwards in the passing offense and they need to let McCarthy play at least a few series and let his play-making ability takeover.

VI) Special Teams play- they need a splash special teams play or two - and they have to continue to be great on kickoff and punt coverage and Moody has to keep crushing those FG's.

That's a lot of shit they need to go right....can happen- but it's unlikely. Give me the Buckeyes by 21.

only way to stop an elite passing attack in todays game is getting the QB on the ground.

Nobody has 3 1st round CB's all in their primes- not even Bama- and that's what it'd take to slow down WR's like this. And with CB's not being allowed to get physical or rough and touch WR's over 5 yards- PI is called more and more and more. So it's literally impossible to try and throw your CB's out there and say hey go cover them boys.

Need pass rushers who can wreck a game. Most teams only have 1 guy like that- or maybe not even any. Michigan has two guys who absolutely can do that. Hutchinson & Ojabo are total studs.

I want to believe so bad that Michigan can win, but at this point I really think this program with Jim Harbaugh is just cursed. We can't have nice things. Ever. I think it started with that muffed punt with 8 seconds left to lose in epic fashion vs Sparty- some kind of voodoo magic juju was put on them then and it's never come off.

I mean to lose your #1 WR in the opening game of the season in the same season your admissions BUNGLED the early enrollment of your prized WR signee and he decides to transfer rather than wait around to enroll in the fall- what. the. f**k. man. This shit does not happen to other programs. Ohio State gets it's 1st round WR's to come back for their SR year for christ sake.

Ronnie Bell is M's best WR by far and kid with a real NFL future (pre-injury) and Xavier Worthy- this is a hot take here- but he's the most talented WR in the entire country. He's a 6'1" DeSean Jackson. Kid has elite everything except upper-body strength & mass but that will come with time in an S&C program. Kid runs 10.2/10.3 and 4.2-4.3's in his sleep, and also has elite change of direction and quicks, hands, and body control. Absolute genetic freak and he's literally like a non-midget DeSean Jackson- who was all of 5'9.5 on a great day. Can't help but be bitter that both these guys should be playing in this game this Saturday for Michigan.

Yes. He’s in Austin because Michigan’s crackhead recruiting and admissions offices bungled the hit and screwed his early enrollment up. Kid graduated high school early so he could enroll early- and Michigan screwed up their early enrollment #’s and didn’t have a spot for him. He said F this I’m out so he transferred.
