Really? I’ve pretty passively tuned in and generally found games competitive and enjoyable. I suppose the Playoffs will be in a week or so, and that will be interesting
No, the basketball is fine, and plenty enjoyable.  But it's summer, and I'm struggling to invest in this regular season wrap up.  I just like the NHL's return to play format better.  NBA I think could have done something similar, but they were worried about the integrity of the regular season.  Maybe that made sense in April, but I don't remember what was happening 5 months ago.  Just give me playoffs.  Hell, the way the NBA playoffs usually go, they were the safest from some top seed getting knocked off early.

Hockey gonna hockey.  MLB playoffs (if we get there) have crazy potential.

It's not perfect but I actually like that the NBA is resuming a shortened regular season because I'm both conferences there are some very tight races for the final playoff spots and it's actually made some of these games pretty exciting.

Take the suns for example. I'm a Mavs fan but living in Phoenix among suns fans (and plenty of them on the ASU board) their fan base hasn't been this excited since Nash was still here. They still might not even make the 8th seed but the fact they keep playing lights out for that sliver of home has really ignited a lot of previously passive, quite suns fans and I am all for it.

Also lots of seeding implications for my Mavs depending how they and other teams around them do, so it's got my attention pretty well.

I'm enjoying it.
I thought I settled my debts that night on the ride home
But I have still got hell to pay

Maybe not having a dog in the hunt changes it.  The Pistons aren't there, I don't remember where these teams were in March.  You want 24 teams?  Give me the NHL plan, so at least it's a pseudo reset into a playoff, and I know where everyone stands.

NBA < rat's ass.
We are a strange society in which something might not matter to a person, but it matters that other people know it doesn't matter to them in a big way.

The NBA/NHL seem to be big for that.

Game of Thrones was that when it was on.

I think I've met more people who are super proud to say they've "never seen a Star Wars/Marvel movie" than people who want to discuss them

No, it doesn't matter.  I shouldn't have posted that.

Yes.  You should have.  You were being kind.

It’s unwatchable to me.  For some reason college basketball captures me and pro basketball doesn’t. It’s pretty much the same with football.

I do find it funny how our liberal media plays up the NBA but is now fighting against college football. I guess one sport where they’re hanging all over each other without facemasks is OK as long as it’s about Black Lives Matter or some other cars, and sponsored by China

I have a solution to this situation.

It would appear the Bucks are boycotting their playoff game this afternoon

Sounds like there is a real question as to whether the NBA cancels entirely
