John Hollinger had a good article on The Athletic showing Lebron and MJ basically had almost all the best seasons in NBA history

And Jordan is credited for passing to Kerr and Paxton to hit big game winners, and LeBron is criticized, simply because Green missed.

I'm not criticizing, it's the right play.

And FTR, I was 4 and 5 when the Pistons won their titles, and was coming into sports right when the Bulls passed them.  Their first title year is the first year I remember watching basketball, and EVERYONE my age was an MJ fan.

Yeah, and I have a buddy who will still talk about Lebron owing a couple rings to Ray Allen and Kyrie.  When I ask him if MJ owes rings to Paxson and Kerr he just hurrumphs and finds something else to criticize Lebron for.
