President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

Heuple has let his arrogance over come his intelligence...

This is Heupel's third year so the excuses of depth, injuries, young and inexperienced is on him. That's the same crap...
Told ya, Roadie.

Heupel better get with what's happening in the new world of college recruiting. Recruiting has changed more programs are looking at the portal to find players to fill their needs rather than taking a chance on a high school prospect hoping he'll develop into a good player.

With the portal and NIL players are now looking for the money and a chance to play. There is very little loyalty of sitting on the bench waiting their turn they want the money and to be on the field in order to get a chance of going to the next level.

So don't worry about how many 4 or 5 stars are signed out of HS worry about how many those the coach can recruit form the portal to your favorite school.

snip:

The recruiting process was already extremely competitive, but with the new implications of NCAA Transfer Portal, it has made it even more competitive. High school juniors and seniors no longer have to worry about their peers in the same graduating class when looking for programs they want to compete for. To remain competitive, college coaches now must try to find the best talent in the portal, as student-athletes with collegiate experience may be more prepared to make an immediate impact on a new team. It is imperative for high school student-athletes with an interest in pursuing college athletics to be even more proactive in their recruiting process.

I can t recall for what source but from what I understand Heupel promised Nico’s parents that unless something happened to Milton, he would RS this year and have 4 years to play.

Not many elite players are going to play four years, nor go past their third year of eligibility.

If he isn't elite, it's moot anyway.
