By the numbers we did indeed get the good Arch yesterday.  Woulda been nice for him to show up before the 4th quarter but beggars can't be choosers.

Now we wait and see if he's concussed.

That was crazy.  I thought for sure UT was cooked when they were down 17 starting the 4th quarter.

No kidding.

Then all of a sudden Sark was forced to call an offense he doesn't want to run that does work, rather than an offense he wanted to run that doesn't work.  Same story last week against Kentucky, and actually it was the same story in the second half against OU.

If he'd run the offense he doesn't want to run against Florida, the Horns would have won that game, too.  But he stubbornly insisted on being stupid for the entire game, rather than just a half or three quarters.

Sark is his own worst enemy.  If he ever figures this out, this Texas team could actually destroy some opponents.

I used to think when he was Pete Caroll's OC at USC, that Sark reminded me of a guy who called plays like he was playing a video game.  He was ridiculously good when he let reality (or PC) reign him in, but sometimes it felt like a kid saying "Hey watch this, this play is crazy."

The other half of the equation is the Miss State went completely cold on offense most of the 4th quarter.  Like they lost their nerve or something.  Or the Texas Defense woke up.

Texas just dominated physically.  Almost but not quite too late.

Early line is Texas -3 versus Vanderbilt.  So including home field, that's effectively a pick 'em.

3 or 4 years ago when the move to the SEC was announced, did anyone think the Horns would be in a pick'em game at home against Vanderbilt?

Crazy sport.
