Well I think I can move the entire thread.  I just don't know how.  I'd rather do that so it would have all its history.

OK I guess it's time to go ahead and start a Longhorn football thread on the SEC board.

Feels weird, but here we are in 2024...

I was going to but felt kinda funny doing it

What’s new will soon be old.

I think we’ve been in the SEC now almost as many years as we were in the Bif 12.

I liked the SWC and the Cotton Bowl.  I'd love to go back to 1983 conference alignments, bowl tie-ins, and media coverage.

Now everybody get off my lawn.

I was working pit crew last night for my kids' marching band competition (they took 1st place in their 5A classification and came close to beating the school that 1st place in state in the highest 6A classification last year), so I didn't get to see the game.

Sounds like Arch had a decent day, even if the stats are a little underwhelming.  I imagine the coaches were keeping the playbook pretty vanilla and just trying to get in and out without any further injuries.  Isiah Bond is an absolute beast though, what a great portal pickup.  Sarkisian really knows how to use the portal plus HS recruiting.

Arch did a good job.  His main problem is learning to pass the ball a little quicker.  His passes were on target for the most part.  He will learn.  Monroe would rush 6 guys and Ewers would have eaten them alive with various screens but your right we only ran simple plays and the playbook remained closed.

Hope Ewers is back by OU.
