Horns just failed to capitalize on a good opportunity. 2 on and 1 out. That situation is one where you feel like you should have gotten at least one run in.  OTOH, the Horns needed 3 and were looking to tie the game with one swing.

Great game, and we finally won one in Omaha!

Now let’s keep the streak going. I’d like another shot at the Sooners.

You'll get your chance if you get past Notre Dame, Gigem.

If I'm reading the bracket right, that is.

Arkansas' win means that whomever OU plays in the championship series will have more-tired pitching arms than the Sooners will.
Midway through the season, I doubt that many Sooner fans thought they'd do any better than maybe get hot or lucky and win a regional.  That's all I reasonably hoped for.  Now they are two wins away from being national champs.
Strange things happen sometimes.
If they manage to win, OU will be the only school to win the MCWS and the WCWS in the same year, in case anybody missed the TV announcers commentary on the subject.
