Any time I replace that many members of my OL, I have to pause. They were seasoned veterans who knew their stuff, but no one was a generational talent.
I believe in Herb Hand. I also believe that we have talent in the fold, and won't have to hope that some true freshman catches on - as we have in seasons past. However, an OL is more than the sum of its parts, which can be good or bad. A collection of journeymen playing as one unit will outperform All-Americans who freelance.
I'm not as concerned about replacing 8 starters on defense. Orlando's defense is situational, and many of next season's "starters" already have seen the field. There's more than enough athleticism to direct to the field. I have to see an OL beat on by a hostile defense, though, before assessing its aptitude.
