Your Miami (O) pick is looking good.

And that's despite it being practically a home game for UNT.
the 4th and goal stop was big

UCF handled Florida, so you got a split.

I would have gotten a split the other way.  I thought UNT and UCF would win.

I had Memphis today, brother had the Warriors

a cancelled game isn't bad when you're up 6-2

I have Nevada and Boston College tomorrow

Player opt outs and covid cases have hit us hard.

It doesn’t hurt that we have no starting QB and no DC as well.

Players sitting out of bowl games is becoming a plague.

It is very disappointing to see it.  Undercuts the whole notion of "team."

player is done playing games

he's off the team - doesn't need the weight room or the training table

no more food

if you're done, you're done

Well the amateurism was taken out of the sport a long time ago. It just players longer to catch up to the coaches and ADs. I don’t blame them one bit, and in fact it simply illustrates what a farce the majority of bowl games have become.
I don’t like it, but this is the new way.

I dont like it either and again if they opt out no later statues no retirement of number and no standing on sidelines

if want to act like its strictly money then thats how they should be treated

I was just going to post that.
I'm pretty sure that Memphis was already out there, since the game was supposed to take place today.  A very expensive vacation for the Memphis football team, as it turns out.
In a perfect world, the forfeiting team would cover the costs that the opponent has incurred.
But that would set up perverse incentives.  Like playing guys who are known to be infected.
I think that more games will be cancelled.  A&M and Hawaii are just the leading edge of the Omicron-variant avalanche.

A Duck board is saying that over 30 Ducks will be missing for one reason or another.

A late cancellation by Oregon may be in the offing.
