All depends on the Trench Ponies!  If the lightning quick QB and RB don't get smothered in the backfield, going to be pretty good.  Pretty good test starting Saturday morning in Dublin!
What do the Chiefs' scouts have to say?

And how's Ski?

I bet those Chiefs' Scouts have retired.  Or they concentrate on the Draft, which is certainly showing out well.  Ski's living the dream.  I think he likes wife #2.  But his oldest didn't listen, attending law school presently...

Kros Strain Brewing and the Huskers unveiled the “Cornhusker Crusher”, a citrus wheat ale, on Wednesday. The beer will support student athletes at UNL.

Seems like a corn adjunct lager would be best suited for the Cornhusker official beer.

I don't drink it.  I've tried Busch heavy - it's not much better

Perhaps with Leo Messi as the face of Michelob Ultra, it was only a matter of time before the light lager achieved GOAT status.

The Anheuser-Busch beer has overtaken rival Modelo Especial in U.S. retail sales by volume for the year-to-date ending on Sept. 14, according to data from Circana seen by CNN.

In a press release Monday, Anheuser-Busch attributed the momentum partly to the successful launch of Michelob Ultra Zero, a non-alcoholic version of the beer.

It’s quite the achievement for the brewer, which faced backlash from conservatives and liberals alike over a partnership with a transgender social media influencer that tanked sales of Bud Light and dethroned it as the top-selling beer in the United States, leading Modelo Especial to take its place in 2023.

The success of Modelo, as well as Corona, seems to have cooled in 2025, partly because of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. Constellation Brands, the beers’ parent company, warned in April that the president’s deportation push was spooking Latino customers and hurting beer sales.

About half of Constellation’s U.S. customers are Hispanic, and some have stopped going out to restaurants and gathering in large groups out of fear of being swept up in deportations, CEO Bill Newlands previously said.

Michelob Ultra’s success is a bright spot at a bleak time for the industry: Retail beer sales for the first half of 2025 fell nearly 5% year over year to $34.7 billion, according to a recent analysis from Fintech and the National Beer Wholesalers Association.

Michelob Ultra’s growth can partly be attributed to increased spending on marketing, including on marquee sporting events, like the previous FIFA Club World Cup and the 2026 World Cup taking place next summer in the United States. Last year, Michelob Ultra surpassed Bud Light in its share of U.S. draft lines at bars and restaurants.

I never understood the bent narrative pushed that Mexican Beer here is somehow sublime outside of some expats that grew up with the stuff. Much like me with Gennessee "Our One Brewery Makes it Best" the old man always had a keg of it and his 4 sons didn't mind making sure he didn't drink too much of it. Anyhow there was a real reason they were shoving limes/lemons in the bottles back in the day! Remember don't drink the water and Montezuma's Revenge? This was a real dilema back then. And where are amber waves of grains growing abundantly down below the Border like the northern plains? I am aware of a colony of Bohemians 200 yrs back- or sumsuch - living in Mexico that whipped up some fine suds but outside of that it's a stretch for me to pay for it as premium. I'm also aware its now made in modern facilities and safe, even ok but I'm not deceiving myself it's top shelf stuff

Want to praise Mexican Food I'm on board with that, good-great even grand stuff but please a hard pass on the tainted trough water. For over 25 yrs I went up to Ontario/Quebec on fishing trips and Canadian Beer is/was much prized.Specially before small American Craft Breweries declared war on the macro peddlers for fleecing loyal customers. One year the cabin we stay at (overlooking God's Country) had the well collapse - no worries half mile a away was a spring so cold it practically cracked your teeth and if you slugged it down definitely got brain freeze. Honestly it's refreshing and even healthful - you can actually taste the earth unmolested by humanity. That makes a difference in a vat of suds - all IMHO of course

That's even worse than the stuff posted above - it's corrupted.Just buy your favorite light beer and half it with water and save some coin if you must partake.Won't be long before they put a shot of beer in the bottle and fill the rest with H2O and push that off as decadent.
