Actually seems like MSU did already clinch going into the final weekend.

Top 8 qualify.

MSU is in 6th with 8 points.  With a win and a Wisconsin loss, they would move up to 5th.  But even with a loss to Northwestern, which would drop MSU behind Northwestern, Rutgers and Ohio State are currently 7th and 8th with 7 and 6 points, and play each other.  So even with an MSU loss, the loser of Rutgers and Ohio State would stay behind them, and MSU would retain 8th.  A tie would still keep OSU behind MSU.

Oh, so BTT means Big Ten Tournament. I thought you meant Big Ten Title, and was quite confused. But now I am picking up what you are laying down.

Bummer, MSU finishes 4th in the conference, but was not one of the 6 schools to earn an NCAA bid
