I remember the one and only

I remember the 69 Mets

25 wins and the Cy Young for Tom

and a young Nolan Ryan
He is by far my favorite baseball player of all time. I was 9 years old in 69 and I was just loved watching him pitch.   At one time, I had a complete line of Topps Tom Seaver baseball cards from Rookie year to retirement.

Nolan is my favorite pitcher

I was 7 in 69

I had a shoe box full of great baseball cards.

My mother wasn't kidding when she said (for maybe the 20th time) that she would burn them if I left them on the floor one more time.

Peyton Manning, Charles Woodson, and Calvin Johnson make the Hall of Fame as first ballot. I knew Manning & Woodson were locks for that- good to see the dumbass voters got it right with Megatron- I was afraid they weren’t going to.

Alan Faneca, John Lynch, Drew Pearson, Tom Flores, and Bill Nunn are the others inducted into the Hall.

Was a youngin' in '72 when an older brother and BIL took me to old Cleveland Stadium to see Ryan with the Angels.Course the indians sucked but I thought they could beat anyone. My BIL told my brother the Tribe won't even see the pitches let alone hit them - he was right.I was in little league and came away impressed to say the least

I had a shoe box full of great baseball cards.

Shudder when I think about the amount that went into my spokes of my bike. But then again like the old Miller Lite commercial about Marv Throneberry

I had Reggie jackson s rookie card. Great right. Except it had randy Reese s blood on it.  We were flipping cards and got into a fight and I bloodied his nose.  It was actually the last physical fight that I remember getting in to

I always hate when the quarterback is getting sacked and intentionally throws the ball into the ground to avoid it. Seems like there would be a rule against that.

Nolan Ryan would fit right into today's MLB:  all Ks and walks, no hits.
