Too many in my circle accusing me of still being too “midwest” by living in Southern California and spending more time in dive bars than at the beaches.

And after spending a gorgeous desert morning watching this 6-3 game between Indiana and Michigan, I kinda see their point.

Western Michigan pulled a regular Michigan, and lost to Toledo.

I helped my son finish moving to a new apartment this morning then we settled in to watch the IU game. Halfway through the first quarter my three year old grandson puked on the couch. That was:

  • Deeper and more insightful than anything Gus Johnson had to say.
  • An apt description of Josh Hoover’s QB play.

Cignetti mentioned AFTER the game, Hoover played injured, all week.  They knew he would play but had to game plan around it.

But my first point still stands.

I turtled like a little b*tch against M*, google me ;D

The game went down to the last play in OT so it's wasn't boring but reminiscent of a High School game. Neither couldn't finish the other off when the opportunity arose plenty of times

it's cool that Iowa-Minnesota feels like an important game....and that neither of them is a west coast team in a big-time Big Ten game.

Psychological letdown upset alerts:  BYU @ UCF, UTK @ USCe.....idk why Cincinnati curb-stomped TT, but whatever.  The best XII team is the tallest midget, perhaps.

It takes Rutgers' defense to make Chiles look like an actual QB.
