Lots of folks are shy and need some help starting conversations.

I never was.  I'm a John Stamos look-alike with fantastic game.  But some folks need a little help.
Ya chased Rebecca Romijn away.I'm an Al Bundy look-alike I can help you out

didn't Louis Winthorpe III (From Trading Places) say, "I'm walking here" while stumbling away from the party in his Santa suit after nearly being hit by a car?

I've never really understood why a movie is a "date".

Let's go somewhere and sit in the dark and look at the same thing without speaking to each other... What's the point in that?

My wife and I occasionally will go see a movie if we both want to see it, but it's the dinner that makes it a date, the movie is just us doing the same thing together in silence.
Then you don't understand the fun of groping your wife in the dark in a semi-public place.  I may be over 60, but I am not dead yet.

I have probably seen most of what people would consider the classics.

But of the top some one mentioned the James Dean films.  And you can throw in On the Waterfront

I love the old noir films and seen a large number of them. Problem is I can't get my wife to watch them.  Finally got her to watch The Maltese Falcon a couple of weeks ago, she was not impressed. I don't know what is wrong with her.

My 13yo daughter loves old movies, and old musicals especially.  She made us all watch The Sound of Music last weekend.

Which is okay, because I love old musicals too!

She was traumatized in a dark theater

On The Waterfront is a classic. Marlon Brando as a young and up-and-coming actor... Before he was swallowed by a larger and much less interesting actor.
I've seen most of his movies. It can't be overstated just how much he changed acting. Before him it was over the top, campy, stupid, unrealistic, ridiculous, and well just plain awful.

There has never been a bigger example of before and after in the history of anything as there was in acting before Brando and acting after Brando.

Dude did his job at his peak better than anybody has ever done their job- and that includes Jordan or Brady.

Now do you apply this logic consistently, and refuse to watch any war movies, prequils, remakes, and movie versions of books that you have read?

My son was John Adams in his school's production of 1776.

He told me that and I thought "Well that is probably a pretty good part... Adams was pretty important."

It wasn't until the actual show that I realized that he was the damn lead lol...

only when the movie is going to be sad

I dont go to the movies to see raw life instead I go to escape reality
