Gotcha. I wasn't sure if this was potentially driven by someone who was pushing the literal Biblical creationism story, and timeline that only goes back 6,000 years or so. There tends to be a lot of overlap between that crowd and downplaying global warming / climate change, so I wanted to better understand the source. Good to know that's not it.

From a quick perusal of the link, I'm not going to wade into some mysterious history of this potential "Clovis" society. I'm sure it's quite interesting, but I have better things to do lol...

I just thought the word choice was very odd, and now I know what prompted it. Thanks.

The guy went on Joe Rogan like 8 years ago with this stuff.  His findings or suggestions go against the status quo when it comes to that stuff.  And while he's safely in the conspiracy crowd of Rogan, his biggest message is actually just 'why not be open-minded that we are wrong about some things?'
But this is old shit.

Eight years ago mainstream science scoffed at the idea of a cosmic impact 12,800 years ago.  Now it's widely accepted.  In the 1970s scientists scoffed at the idea that an asteroid impact ended the dinosaurs.

Well the weather actually broke ranks from old man winter yesterday it hit 49deg. & sunny. Got both cars washed and chipped the ice off the drive way - that should be a winter sport. Back to the cooler today though
