I am. Never tried to find the birth parents.

I do wish I knew some health history.
I am indeed.

Have a relationship with natural mother now.  She held out for years not spilling the beans on the father.  Finally came clean--he was an engineering student at Texas Tech, she ended up becoming a teacher after the hiatus the situation of me caused back in the day.  She didn't want to tell me because she thought if he rejected me it would hurt my feelings.  I figure it would be his loss, so, whatevs.  She came to live with some friends in KS to have me, I was taken home from the hospital day 3 after birth.  The lawyer that did the paperwork worked across the street from Mom's boss.  He ended up signing my character vouching for the bar exam, and he just passed away in the last few weeks.

Anyway, I have two half-brothers from the mother's side, who I am aware of but have not yet met, and the father had 2 daughters.  Both of my natural parents ended up marrying somebody else within a year of my birth.  Father's side is like incognito in their online presence, so I can't get much dirt, other than one of the girls is a vice-principal somewhere in OK.

They messed up Ohio State.  The Chase logo is not going to have any blue in it.

Now there's talk of a 20-team playoff.

I know none of us wants any of this, but what in the holy hell is their aversion to square numbers?!?!?!  Why do the idiotic decision-makers require these byes and/or play-in games!?!?

It's fucking stupid.  If you must expand, it's 16.  16.  It's fucking simple.  Stop the extra bullshit, please!

The people crave byes.

(By people, I mean network execs who may want rounds that don’t crowd TV content)

also, it’s gonna be cool when they kick off and we just get the normal fun of football season.

College football runs through agents now.
Nebraska GM Pat Stewart in an interview said, about 60% of their roster has an agent, and he actually thinks that’s a good thing.
Agents help both sides get what they want. Players have someone representing them, and schools have a direct point of contact to get deals done faster.
Stewart even believes agents should be officially sanctioned because, in the long run, it will help players earn more money

UGA signed some deal with Progressive, who I surmise sees a market in providing car insurance for the players ...........

Last year LSU had a transfer from Florida, Jack Pyburn, currently on Tampa Bay's training camp roster, who, along with 16 other people, was granted a temporary restraining order against the NCAA, opening the door for them to return to cfb.  Apparently, the lawsuit argues the NCAA is breaching its "covenant of good faith" by denying those players the same five-year eligibility window that players before them and after them have received.

LSU would likely welcome him back, but he could also stick it out with the Bucs and take the chance that he makes the 54 man roster.

Or he might be able to enter the portal and go somewhere that is not LSU.

It's all a glorious cluster at this point.  I just grab the popcorn and watch it burn.

JJ Watt has a year available. Jonathan Taylor and Melvin Gordon too.

I'll take 'em both.
