Curious. I've been to New Orleans twice, and would happily go back. I have zero interest in Bourbon Street, but I enjoyed walking the city, the jazz scene, good food, the WWII museum.
Napa is pretty touristy. I prefer Sonoma, but Calistoga (northern part of the Napa Valley) is a place I return to for a chill weekend getaway.
I really enjoyed going to Bryce Canyon, but that's a place I don't need to re-visit. Once--to see the hoodoos--was enough. Same for Acadia in Maine. Beautiful place, but no need to return to it.
Badge may not like hearing it, but I've been to Florida maybe five times and although I enjoyed visiting amusement parks and the Kennedy Space Center with my kids (when they were little), there's nothing pulling me back. The weather really got to me. I'm sure there is plenty of great stuff in Florida, but it's a tough sell for me. The right college football matchup might lure me in.
I lived in South Korea for 18 months, to be fair, on U.S. military installations. I visited Seoul several times and had a good time, but I have no desire to go back. While I was there, I went to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Enjoyed going, but also no need to go back.
I feel the same way about Venice. Got to see it. It was interesting and pretty, in its way. And smelly and run down, and kind of creepy. That was all I needed. Would absolutely go back to Italy, but Venice is unlikely to be on my itinerary again.
