There is a cruise out of London that goes around the island and stops in Ireland as well that my wife wants to do.

We are skipping Europe this year. Russia and all that.

12 night Caribbean is in the cards.

I like cruises, I know badgerfan does too though many people do not.

Still, for me, 12 nights is probably a little long.  7 nights has been about right for me in the past.

We do cruises if the ports of call are of interest.  I thought the original Baltic cruise itinerary looked great, then it fell to "OK" (and then it fell to zip).

I've been looking at one in SE Asia as well.

European cruises in the Med or river cruises definitely interest me.  I've never done one.  But I think I'd feel a little cooped up and restless, doing 12 nights on the same ship. Even with excellent ports of call.

I hate cruises, only been on a couple, and they're always Caribbean. A European cruise on the Mediterranean interests the f$#k out of me though lol. Never done that- but I sure would like to soon.

All soda is a Coke.

14-year-old me: I'm going over to 7-11 to get some cokes, anybody want anything?

Friend1: Sure, I'll take a Dr. Pepper
Friend2: Please grab a Sprite for me.
Friend3: A Coke sounds good to me, thanks.

This is the way.

It's how we got into Europe. Now we know where to go and where to not go.

You would love it.

We see folks on cruises who sit at the bar for hours drinking.  I think for some the idea of a cruise is the same as an all inclusive resort, you get hammered and eat all you can.  That isn't our approach.  We've done Carribean and Alaska and I didn't care much for either.  The western Med cruise was superb, same cruise line.  The original Baltic cruise would have been great I think.  We're more interested in exploring places while being able to unpack once.

We did one river cruise in Europe that was OK.  It wasn't a main cruise line like Viking, when they showed no excursions that included pillaging a village I lost interest ...
