Not worth its own thread, but not loving the matchup tonight.

FPI ranks Toledo as the best team in the MAC.  The 5 teams directly above them are Boston College, Fresno State, James Madison, North Dakota State and NC State.  Lose to one of those teams, whatever, lose to Toledo, and, well...

I think MSU pulls it out, but it's not going to be pleasant.  I'll say 28-23

UW started a pipeline to NJ when Barry brought in Bernie Wyatt (RIP) from Iowa. Hayden was really pissed about that one.

Barry is on record as telling Pat Richter that he would not take the Wisconsin job without Bernie, and he needed to open the checkbook for him - and he did. At Barry's presser, Bernie was there and didn't even know he was working for Barry - he was there as a friend. True story.

Wyatt was from Amityville, NY.

I am pulling for Michigan State for a variety of reasons. First off I like Fitzgerald and I think he’s a damn fine coach. Secondly, my youngest daughter graduated from MSU and is now a gainfully employed biomedical engineer. Lastly, all of my neighbors in my Michigan Cabin Home, our MSU fans and I love it.

Purdue up 37-6 after 3 quarters. I think I can breathe easy now?

That Sycamore offense never had the juice.

I always love imagining Dayne in high school.

The other thing about the 2013-15 run is how healthy we were in 2013 and 2014.  We had injuries in 2015, but that team was sort of fluky.  13 and 14 were as healthy as you could be, but the depth was never tested

Now 3 of our 4 captains are out for the game with injuries, and it shows MSU will never have depth

Well I just looked up the score and see they went ahead just now according to CBS :cheer:

MSU having a sludgy game against a smaller school is a real sign of the changing of the seasons.

Yeah, he looked way faster than he should've been there.  Also, the RB on the other team looked good (22).

What's with the announcer talking during the play??  That's odd.
