The Mach E is a Mustang in name only. It's not capturing people who want an EV version of a Mustang (if any such people exist). Its buying demographic is not a muscle car or a sportscar demographic.
Seems like the EV Camaro is trying to split the difference and I suspect it will be a failure. I don't think the kinds of guys who want a muscle car, want an EV version of a muscle car. They're petrol-heads, not ampere-heads.
The EV supercar market is also not developing very quickly for the same reason, I'd suggest.
