I think that certainly seals that a 1 loss OSU ain't in the CFP
That was already true to a degree    If they lose one of the next 2 but beat Michigan and win the CCG- they will be in.  But other than that they were never getting in without beating UM and winning the conference.

Also- let’s not over react to a game played in 30 mph hour winds with 50 mph gusts, and sideways rain.

Checking in from Southern California. Was out at the bars later than I meant to be last night (11PM) buying shots of Jameson with a Humboldt County hippie chick (it’s California) but woke up just fine. Plan today is to head up the road to my brother’s to watch Tennessee-Georgia. Him and his wife will probably invite me to stay for a few more hours to catch at least the first half of FSU-Miami and Clemson-Notre Dame. For lunch I’m bringing along the Trader Joe’s pizzas they’ve come to like since trying gluten free (it’s California). Before heading up I need to clean up my place, load/run the dishwasher, and sort out the aluminum cans from my trash for leaving with the homeless neighbors on my block to refund (it’s California). After a week of dropping temperatures and rain, the weather is sunny enough to tan again (it’s California).

Anyway, enough of California. On Monday I returned from my East Coast trip, stopping through Indianapolis, Richmond VA, and Auburn/Montgomery AL and thought I’d share a few autumnal scenes we don’t quite experience in the Southwest.

Uncle’s neighborhood on the north side of Indianapolis:

Cousin’s morning walk along a foggy lake outside of Richmond VA:

Wisconsin got what I can only call wins roughage. Will take. Bowl is a near lock, which did not look like the case a few weeks ago.

It's 3 weeks and 3 trophies on the line.

At Iowa, at UNL and finish at home against Minnie.

Road games are hard.

Forgot to mention - plans changed and we are not going out tonight.

I have some split chicken breasts brining in the fridge, will put some smoke on them in the Summit. Applewood chips are soaking now.

Gonna get some collards started. They take forever.

Be interesting if Bert goes 5-0 against the West and 0-3 or 0-4 against the East.

yeah this is who I thought Tennessee was. Soft as charmin and doesn’t play defense.

Think they were getting way too much credit for beating a mortal Bama team.

Georgia is as physical as it gets. Passing game is sexy and all. But Big Boy Grown Ass man football and lines of scrimmage still win and always will.

Flightline about to run in the Classic.  Lots of folks want to compare the horse to Secretariat.

kind of funny to see the Derby winner, Rich Strike, still a longshot in this at 21-1.   Obviously a long ass winner at the Derby.   I'd like to see Life is Good here push the envelope hard.
