Jackpot Bowling was originally aired on NBC in the early 60s, and was primarily a way for NBC to cook some time off a 30-year contract they gave Milton Berle while he was at the height of his popularity.

The league teams have a solid bowl docket, headlined by Ohio State appearing in the national semifinal vs. Clemson. Ohio State skunked the rest of a solid league, and Clemson beat up an ACC that was an insult to garbage. 

Q1: How many total yards of offense (rushing and passing) will Ohio State QB Field have vs. Clemson?

Michigan drew the short straw and got an angry Bama in the Citrus. Uh-oh.

Q2: How many total yards of offense will Michigan rack up vs. Alabama?

Deadline for entries is Saturday, December 28 at 3 PM CST.

Please note that I will be out of the country until after the new year, so results will not be tabulated until early in the week of January 6.

you guessing that Fields is injured in the first half, or the Buckeyes have a huge lead at the half and they rest Fields for the final?

The latter.  I think Fields plays into the second half but mostly is handing the ball off, and I think they shut down his running.  He'll be 12 for 15 passing for 147 yards and have -10 "running".

Apparently this was one of the shorter shows. Jackpot Bowling was originally on after boxing, and if there was a first round knockout it could go on for as long as an hour...
