I've made more than a few taco dogs in my lifetime.  Pretty much a staple for a poor college kid down here in Texico.

The "upscale" version is a sausage wrap-- a link of smoked sausage on a griddled flour tortilla, with some jalapenos and onion, and usually either mustard or BBQ sauce.
