Impressive.  Ad hominem plus red herring in a single five-word sentence.  You shoulda found a way to throw in an appeal to authority to hit a trifecta! :57:

I've been talking to Alabama fans for so long, I bet I could've thrown even more than that in there!  Hell, with only mild effort, I bet I could've worked in assuming the conclusion, false dichotomy, and a slippery slope fallacy.

Has anyone looked to see what people are paying to witness "bad music" right now?

And how many of them there are?

I found some of my concert ticket stubs from the 80s.  Big arena shows for bands like Van Halen, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Rush, The Cars, Boston.  They were all like $10-$15.
I wanted to see Aerosmith around 2002, 2003....somewhere in there.  But tickets were like $80, and that was a no-go for me and my buddies.  Especially when we'd seen them not that long prior for less than $40, I think.
Doesn't sound like too much now, but $80 in '02 would be like almost $150 today.  And we were newly graduated from college and were still poor.

Yeah college is about when I stopped going to big arena shows.  The prices were still $20 or less by the time I graduated, but after that they started going up, and I started hating big groups of people.

I still went to handful of festivals because it was a better deal when you could see a BUNCH of bands for the price of entry, but then those prices skyrocketed too, and my hatred for big groups of people grew.

Now I go pretty much eclusively to clubs, bars, dance halls, honky tonks, and smaller outdoor venues, to hear live music.  The prices are generally $50 or less, and like I said before, still plenty of free shows from excellent musicians.

Original tickets for Rush’s historic Signals Tour stop at the Omaha Civic Auditorium Arena on September 9, 1982, typically cost between $10.50 and $12.50.

I was a poor broke college student - but I sacrificed the $12 bucks

And they have always made me feel welcome, which is also rare in the world we live in! Most folks are transactional-- if they need you for something, they get in touch. But the guys in Rush never treated people that way. Of course, they were grateful when folks were helpful to them, but even years later, they didn't forget it.
