Myrtle Beach is akin to Pigeon Forge, but on a coast.  It's a hyper tourism mess.  There is good golf around it which attracts some.  Calabash just north of MB has classic fried seafood.

Charleston is "historic", as is Savannah.  Both are quaint, somewhat touristy now, worth strolling about some.  Hilton Head is more our "style".  Savannah has a large historic district with some interesting old homes and parks.

Brunswick, GA is kind of interesting and St. Simons and Jekyll Islands are nice.

Perhaps we'll skip Myrtle Beach.

They don't call it the Redneck Riviera for nothing.  I personally never want to go back for any reason.

Myrtle Beach is the only one I've been to.

College isn't a scam. Your degree might be.
This chart shows the median household income per educational attainment.
People with only high school degrees make $55,810 (household)
People with bachelor's degrees make $117,600 (household)
Yes, the degree you get matters.
Some arts degree wouldn't be any useful, but engineering or accounting certainly will.
Stop saying that college isn't useful anymore...

Rotterdam is a sight to see. Quick day trip from Amsterdam if you so choose.

The bolded means nothing without the sentence above it.

Yup.  I was also musing about various choices, pros and cons, like getting a less than useful degree at considerable expense vs "plumbing school".

I'd argue that college in that case is the poorer choice in terms of money.

Parts of it are very cool.  Other parts are seedy af.  I worked there for about a month, had a great time but man, there are some stories.

How can Vegas be among the driest? Everyone there is drunk at all times.

West Virginia? Kentucky?

I just meant if you are interested in watching shipping stuff. It's amazing. But yeah, I'd rather spend my time in the DAM to the North.
