The Blue Bloods list used to be fairly clear, to me anyway, but today is perhaps starting to morph.

I think IF the Dawgs won a couple more NCs and were in the playoff nearly every year for a decade they'd start to be mentioned.  To me, there is a deep history item with Blue Bloods that the Dawgs mostly lack.

One would think USC should "be back" at some point.

could have buried the Trojans if left out of the B1G or SEC

I think they lost a big part of their "fan base" over the years, it's no longer "hip" to like CFB in LA.  Recruiting should be fairly easy with NIL stuff, one would think.  Oregon has become a pretty good program in less fertile territory.  Utah is pretty decent.  Is Utah a B12 team now?

I often note how the lines are so important in building a team, not glamorous, but really important, with depth, so your 2s can be substituted in a competitive game.

USC has a fanbase when its winning - especially now that LA has two NFL teams again, and a very successful baseball team and the Lakers.

Poor UCLA.

And F Oregon.

Wouldn't it be the opposite?
PAC would still exist and dominating it would be easier than doing so in the B1G.  RELEVANCE!!!!

I'm genuinely impressed, I don't follow B1G/Wisconsin football all that much, I really had no idea Wisconsin had been that good for the last 20 years.  Lot of 10+ win seasons in there.  It just goes to show how much unwarranted media attention Ohio State and Michigan get (and to some extent Penn State) out of Big 10 coverage.  It's also weird that they've lost several of the coaches to programs that were about on par.

I've often seen Wisconsin listed as one of the big teams that doesn't have a NC, looks like y'all were quite close over the years.

Bielema left for Arkansas because he wanted to build his own program (Wisconsin was built by Alvarez and he was still the AD) outside of the shadow of the guy with a statue outside the stadium.

Andersen left when he realized the admission standards at Wisconsin were real.

Chryst was fired for not keeping up with the times.

We'll see how long Fickell lasts. This is a prove it year, but:

Best guess: 8-4.  A very Aggie Outcome.
