I am musing about "ethnic foods", and which among them I like the most, a ranking if you will.  This really is impossible because there is much variety, but I thinking "Consider the type you like the best at a very good restaurant, and leave out any European kind."
So, here goes, it's tough:
1.  Thai - I could eat it every day.  I like rice, so that's a good start.  A lot of variety and sauce and taste.
2.  Indian - Close call, I'm thinking more northern Indian, enormous variety.
3.  Chinese - Another close call, same things.
4.  Persian - OK, I like it a LOT, what I've had, especially the lamb.  Maybe they are numero uno.
5.  Mexican - Well,duh.
6.  Korean - Only this low because there seem to be fewer kinds.  Maybe.
7.  Japanese - How can they be this low?  Can get pricey in the US.  Or not.
8.  Turkish - What I've had is really good.
9.  Mongolian - Also very good.
10.  South American - Not a fan of plantains.
