I believe last year every top four team lost in round one, right?  Will that recur?  Probably not.

There is no "final CFP ranking".

Miami is the highest ranked ACC team and has a fairly limited shot at making the playoff.

They will probably  get the winner of the CG probably between Tech and UVA, neither of whom has much recent history of success.  Vandy still has a shot, and Indiana is a virtual lock.

Then there is Tulane or whoever.

I can't corroborate "90%", but here's an article about why the US has so many more than other countries...

I don't have any data, but I'm guessing the majority of tornadoes here are spawned from the outer bands of hurricanes.

When is Florida's Tornado Season? Tornadoes in Florida can form in a variety of ways, and in all seasons. However, many of Florida's tornadoes occur in the Spring and Summer months. Summer season tornadoes (June-September) typically occur along strong sea breeze boundary collisions, as well as from tropical cyclones.

Mostly spring and summer, according to the article I posted.  Actually, not an article, a clip from AI.
