It was nice to be in the stadium last night
especially with my brother and at club level seats

I like the offense

still worried about the D-line holding up against big boy running offenses

special teams didn't have a good night

Wisconsin started a little slow, but then roar to life in the second quarter and smooshed the team they were supposed to smoosh.

I think that is the first time in eight tries and Luke Fickell era That I’ve come away from a nonconference body bag game really satisfied. Guessing it’ll be his last, so I guess nice to go out on top?
For sure the first time they gave a beatdown, but I'm not satisfied at all.

I was rooting for EMU, so we'd see an interim coach today.

Losing at Ole Miss these days isn't something awful, they are pretty good.  Losing at home to Kentucky?

KY has a lot of NIL somehow, and they spend it on both football and hoops.

Just saw a neighbor walk by in an LSU shirt (as Lane Kiffin was being called an a**hole on TV).  I know him a little, and KNOW he has no connection.  At least they win, so that makes sense.  Can't wait to hear it from my next door neighbor who has his ND flag out already.  Again, no connection.

But the worst is the guy across the street, who went to PSU, and is an AGGRESSIVE Michigan fan
The worst Ohio State fan I have ever met was a guy from Muncie, Indiana, who went to Ball State, no familial ties to the Buckeyes, and readily admitted that he had never even been to an Ohio State game. He was the most loudmouth, arrogant, “we, we, we” fan I have ever met. Meanwhile, another guy in the building actually graduated from Ohio State and was the most grounded football fan I’ve ever met in my life.

Growing up near Bloomington, I always had to deal with the reversible jacket IU basketball/ND football fans as well. Growing up there, when Notre Dame was in the midst of their Lou Holtz glory years, I made up my mind very quickly that I would never be a reversible jacket anything.

I knew a fair number of Ohio State fans back in the day, they were all quite reasonable.  Small slice of course.  I've never met a "terrible fan" of CFB, met a couple on line if you call it meeting.

We used to have a "fake?" Tennessee fan here who always predicted 12-0 seasons and gave ridiculous excuses or disappeared for the season when they lost.  He was ... amusing at first,  then predictable and not funny.

Well, it was the kind of performance that should satisfy.

I’ve been thinking about the rest of the schedule in terms of weighing games in terms of if they can help or hurt the current staff’s Ability to stay on board (we would have to invert it for those, hoping to see them put out like old yeller). I’m going to read this in a second when I am not on my phone.

If USC plays like they did yesterday - cold and rainy would help - they could easily lose in Madison in a month. They are soft.

I give them almost zero chance at PSU this week.

Iowa is going to knock the hell out of UW.

UW will beat Minnesota this year, as God intended.

Green are wins I think they should get (all at home). Blue is tossup. Red is no chance.

If green is all they get, that's 5-7 and we will see a new coach - despite having the Axe back.
