Already done.  I was restless this morning and woke up pretty early, did that while it was still dark and then watered all the plants after it got a little lighter.  Now I'm just sitting on the back patio, drinking coffee, and watching the birds and bees at the feeders and flowers. 

If she'd brought any laundry my i s c & a aggie wife would have already started it, but she wasn't sure she was staying so it looks like she didn't bring any.

This made me happy, but also sad for the attendees and musicians.  We did get a pretty severe storm.  But the music stopped of course, it started back again today.  

There was a mass swarm of folks exiting the park unprotected from a pretty heavy downpour, no one seemed prepared.

the rain held off until after the game in Lincoln (happy)

maybe not for the folks that stayed in the stadium to see Cole Swindell play music

Had a good time at the IU game with my son and three year old grandson. The game wasn’t always pretty and I’m officially lowering my expectations for the season. But having three generations at an IU football win is a good time.

Train played after the Cal game. My son went.

Played my best round of golf in a while today... 23.0 handicap, shot an 18.8 differential. 2 birdies. 

Then my wife brought the kids and we had a nice lunch at the course. 

Grilling lamb tonight... Should be a nice end to a good day.

The good times you have with your kids should be celebrated, and remembered.  Mine have moved too far away to visit often, and neither seems disposed to having kids.

The Braves clinched the NL East.  I was glad for that.  They can struggle in the playoffs, much like UGA has, but at least they made it.  They had a weak June, looked like they would blow their lead.  

They seem able to come up with good pitchers from nowhere when they head dudes get hurt.

my youngest was in Lincoln with me this weekend - the oldest couldn't make it to Lincoln but I'll see her next weekend in Des Moines for a wedding
