Doesn't seem that way at all, here.

Because like I said, prices are dropping fast at the smaller operations. From my direct observations.  Here.  Today.

Check Gasbuddy and get any sample size you like.  Yesterday Costco was at 2.99 while smaller operators were at 2.95.  Now Costco is at 2.92.

That drop in price doesn't seem overly related to the price of crude 30 days ago, which was going up, not down.


Supply chains, how do they even work?????

Right, so it's not responding to the cost of inputs from 3-4 weeks ago.  It's responding in real time to the market.  If that's what you're saying then cool, we agree.

We don't get Juneteenth off, which seems odd because it's a Texas-originating holiday.  We do get MLK day off so I guess that's our token holiday and there can be only one.

However I'm basically taking tomorrow off anyway.  Gonna have folks over to the house in the afternoon to swim and watch the USA World Cup soccer game, make some BBQ chicken and ribs, and generally celebrate summer.

We do not get that day off. 

Our holidays are

New Years Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
