Well it appears I've found a 3rd IPA that I'd pay for

My wife is going out to dinner with her girlfriends tonight.

You may recall that when COVID started, I was asking how long it might last because her good friend was turning 40, and we were all talking about a trip to Paris -- which was doubly screwed by COVID and her friend getting breast cancer.

Well, tonight they're out celebrating her 5 year cancer-free-versary. Which is officially "remission".

That makes me happy.

We won in flag football yesterday.  Went 0-6 last year and started 0-2 this year.  7-6 victory.

We hadn't had a team before I stepped up as coach last year, so we're still playing schools with 8th graders on their 3rd year.  We'll have that next year, which will feel like more even footing.

Just happy for the kids, though.  They needed it.

My older brother got this for my 50th birthday.  What a find!  One of the best 'old poll' seasons ever.

Plus, it's about 300 feet from my office, the food is good for a dive bar, and the beer is always cold and served in a frosty glass.
Dive bar hell, that's God Send 🙃

Fearless you’ll understand this.

doing something today I’ve always wanted to do but never have done before and that is to be custom fitted for a brand new set of golf clubs.

the ones I’m using are old and standard off the shelf, which makes no sense for somebody who is 6 ft 3.Plus after my knee replacement surgery my swing is a lot more upright so it’ll be good to get loft, lie, and shaft adjustments for my swing speed and launch an angle and all that fun stuff.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

What kind of courses do you play over there? Lots of executive courses on this side - can't really use a whole lot of clubs in the bag.

Fearless, should leave the glasses and phone on the table, gives the wrong impression.  Even if expressions denote the 2 double wells and 3 pints having been consumed.

I suppose I should have asked to leave the glasses on the table but there was no button for that option

It would probably take the glasses off of your face, and set them on the table.
