My wife likes PBR, I'm not much of a fan.

We continued our July 4th tradition by having lunch outside at the local Indian place, it was exceptionally good today.  I had a 1947 and she had a Dehli mule, which is about the best mixed drink I've ever had.

FYI PBW wasn't a typo... PBW = Powdered Brewery Wash

One HELL of an effective cleanser...

I played a decent round of golf this morning - better than the past couple months - the girls were looking fine, now going out for some food.

My dog doesn't freak out over fireworks. That would be stressful, so I'm happy I didn't have to deal with it.

Also... Ribs.

For today... I'm happy my neighbor's house didn't explode.

Seriously... I got home from walking the dog, and was inside and I heard a "pop" and a big time hissing noise. My windows were open, and then I smelled gas... Called to my wife in the bedroom "we gotta GO!" and we left the house.

Called 911 and the fire department came out--we'd also finally contacted the neighbor, two of the family who were in the house--and the fire department got the supply shut off, and all is safe. Gas company has already been out to replace the faulty bit.

But that was... uhh... exciting.
