I can't fathom that going to Costco is a decent experience
I don't even think purchasing on-line is decent

Costco is one of my happy places.

I like Costco and I wish they would build one closer.

They are building a new one in fort Myers, but it's still 24 miles.

The one in North Port is 33 miles.

Within a 24 mile radius of my front door, I think I count 7 Costco stores. Expand out to 33 miles and it might be 10+.

Inline 4 turbo.  It's not exactly slow, but it's not the 5L V8 either.
Surprisingly powerful for a 4 cylinder. That was my impression when driving some recently.

My happy place this weekend: 25th anniversary, and a lovely weekend in the redwoods north of San Francisco. Played an Alister MacKenzie golf course in the trees yesterday. It's a nine hole, public course. Perfect for what we had time for.

closest to me is 97 miles - I was there a couple years ago after a golf event near there.
I'm happy to be playing a golf course in that area late this afternoon.
I just invited the guy that took me there on his membership 2 years ago.
It's short notice, but.......

I don't remember being happy about shoppin there last time.  It didn't suck, but it was still mingling with the masses and pushing a cart.

Density will do that. We'll soon have enough rooftops here to support a Costco. We do have Sam's close, but Costco>>>Sam's.

I agree Costco>>>Sam's...

...which is good, because the closest Sam's is >20 miles away.

20 miles there is not the same as 20 miles here, that's for sure!

We get to Costco before 11 and it's fine.  We didn't wait at all to get gas or check out.  They recently enlarged their gas station at this Costco which helped enormously.

$2.67.9 for regular.

I think I got less than 5 gallons.

I got some nice looking tuna steaks for tonight and some pretty good wine, but their Kirkland Chateauneuf du Pape was gone.

My watch says 93°F and we're headed to the pool once lunch is digested a bit.

I went to Sam's in Cincy for several years and it was fine for me, and then Costco opened up down the street.  Holy Molly.  Different experience.
