Watched A Real Pain over the weekend and really liked it.  It was uncomfortable and cringey at times, as it was intended. Culkin did a really good job walking the line between likeable and super-annoying, I can see why he won the Oscar for best supporting.

My wife said something about My Cousin Vinny and I mentioned that I'd never seen it.  She couldn't believe it and was adamant that I see it, so that's what we watched this weekend.

I like Joe Pesci.
I like Marisa Tomei.

Kudos to The Last of Us for at least avoiding an obvious cliche for now.

I’m dense. What is the cliche ?

I watched "Dark Winds".  I had started it before and turned it off, decided to give it a full go because I like one of the actors.

It's entirely mediocre in my view.

I watched Escape at Dannemora over the last couple weeks.

Patricia Arquette, Paul Dano, Benicio del Toro

Directed by Ben Stiller

It came on my radar in BTS footage of Severance where Stiller was talking about sharing camera techniques between the two projects.

Very good, but pretty long. About 8 hours of content.

I like Marisa Tomei.

iirc, I believe she won an award for Best Supporting Actress for that movie....an Oscar, maybe?  I thought she was fine and fit the role well, but it didn't strike me as something that would've won an award.

All I can ever think when I see her now is Aunt May.

I've seen reviews that say Andor s2 has gotten extremely good.
