Obviously Coan knows the defense he is facing today. Still, I think the Badgers can bring the pressure.

ND starting NT is out with concussion stuff, which could help the UW running game.

Wisconsin:

Championship defense.

No offense.

Putrid "special" teams.

The OL is terrible. The QB shouldn't be.

At a minimum, the OL coach and ST coaches need to roll on the bus ride home.

Unfortunately, they are PC's best buddies. So, maybe PC makes a move, or not. If he doesn't, the new AD should probably consider make one.

The Noles are down 3 scores after the 1st quarter and are well on their way to an 0-4 start to their season.

The game got out of hand at the end and was closer IMO than the score indicates.  My takeaways:

1. Wisconsin QB Mertz is inconsistent.  A common issue with underclassmen.
2. Wisconsin’s defense is good.  Their DL is great.
3.  Michigan has no chance next Saturday unless they figure out how to do something other than run between the tackles.
4. ACC refs suck.
A decade of Victory over Penn State.

Agree it was close then 'BAM' - lightning in a bottle.UW from the little I saw(not remember) bumbled a few opportunities.ND made their luck and benefitted from a few calls

All of that is true, except #3. The game is already over.

Not sure I buy that. Wisconsin favored by Vegas to win by 4 pts. It's a home game for Wisconsin and they are coming off a bad loss. Doubt they'll play like crap two weeks in a row on ST's and offense.

Wisconsin D is still elite. And Michigan has literal morons running it's offense. They will run into the teeth of Wisconsin's elite front 7 all game long and not even try anything else. Which will play right into Wisconsin's hands and keep the game close.

I don't like Michigan's chances in this one. IF Mertz is still the starting QB next week though and he goes full meltdown turnover machine mode- then Michigan's chances increase drastically. But I don't see how they'll be able to start Mertz and I'm guessing that Wisconsin does better job taking care of the ball and playing ST's next week at home.
