Looking at the stats, you'd think UNL won.  timing of penalties and turnovers kills..
...and the spread on gameday was Purdue by a whopping 3.5...the Goddamn rookie Vegas oddsmakers gave Purdue motivation by saying it was a winnable game! Thx Obama.

Its a huge reach IMO. Nobody, anywhere, equates Purdue with Michigan....except in West Lafayette and this forum.
don't forget about Columbus, OH!

Damn straight.

Purdue has had way more success against the Buckeyes than Michigan has had, since the turn of the Millennium.

yup, when your 3-4 looks and acts more like the 5-2 McBride was running in 88, that's a problem

at lease McBride's DEs in the 5-2 could pressure the passer, knock down passes, and set the edge.
Yep. Not sure the direction we're headed is that great either...they appear to be recruiting tall, lean, kids for DE. Not really the ideal frame to take on BIG-level OTs, IMO.

I would much prefer to go big all across the front...all three dudes are heavy DT types who can, in theory at least, drop a knee and split a combo block. If you want to load up a bit at ILB, fine. Everybody else would be defensive back type players. If I see a second TE I sub into a 40 front.

I sure as shit am not going to allow my defense to be too slow because of my personnel decisions, if I can help it at all.

I've actually only eaten there once, as they are always so busy.

They do have a Thurmans to go out in Reynoldsburg. But that's like a 20 minute drive for me, and I'm not sure that a burger is going to have that kind of shelf life.

These places that make sandwiches big enough to send a lion into a food coma - what's the point? It certainly isn't fine dining, evidently they do a brisk business - is it mostly drunken frat boys playing man vs food?Look at that thing even if you split it with a buddy your still gonna feel like a ship stuck in the sand. And I'd load up on fish oil just to grease the intestinal skids.Your just tempting a log jam there

I wouldn't eat that one specifically. It's at least twice the size of the rest of their burgers.

No way you are getting your mouth around the Thurmanator. You'd have to eat it like an apple.

this is what Wisconsin looks like with 3 upfront.  Ohio St., Michigan, and Iowa don't have any small kids with a fist in the turf.
I like the move of Stoltenburg to DE this week.  Maybe it will catch on.  It would be nice to get Damion Daniels ready to go next season with the Davis twins flanking him.

Kinda reminds me of Golden Corral in a way.  I would take the kids there from time to time when they hit 13 or so and started eating.

Then it occurred to me their good is not very good.  Duh.

I think some places have some monstrous meal as a gimmick to get attention.

There's a guy that posted a video of himself conquering the Blue Ash Chili Challenge on you tube, and the waitress was just hovering over him then entire time, watching him like a hawk.
She must of thought that he'd be stuffing jalapeños in his socks.
