I feel like this could be a close game with OSU pulling away late.
Or not.

OSU 38
Maryland 30
Oops.

I had a couple of those yesterday. I thought NU would hang and even beat Penn State.

Oops.

I learned....

You're not allowed to hit WR's anymore.

Holding is absolutely allowed and paramount for Ohio State.

It takes a screaming coach to get a review on a QB going down to the field and getting smashed head on, but for Maryland, it's an automatic flag.

CB is most definitely the hardest position in the game, especially when the QB throws short, 11 ft too high, and 10 yards too wide....you are guaranteed an abnormally high amount of pass interference calls.

If there is any light....

If Haskins wins the job next year, he has to come to Maryland, where EVERYONE hates him. Even many of his classmates. Hopefully that will screw with his head a bit.

Oh, and Urby will always score as much as he can to send a message to our local kids.

Go win a natty.

Yeah. I know it's hard for you to believe.

They didn't even throw a flag for the hit to our QB. Yet, after reviewing, the DB was ejected.

There was a screen from the endzone where Carter had a clear shot at a tackle, and was grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground.

The PI's are just ridiculous vs Ohio State.  We had a pick on the first play last year where the WR was falling down, and we jumped over top for the INT, and was called for PI.

Is what it is, but there's no denying it. Just blind loyalties.

I didn't even mention the numerous false starts....wow!

Dern good thing, too.

Otherwise, there'd no doubt be a lot more of these things runnin' around.

Same guy who will tell you that coach K gets the benefit of the doubt, says refs are fair.

Did you hear about the touchdown signaled, even though Haskins was clearly tackled at the 3 yard line?

Honestly, what has happened to you?  I seem to remember years ago you being a good poster on the ACC board. I thought we had some good discussions.  Every post I read from you is just like this one. Sour grapes. Refs. Disrespect. No class.
You seem determined that no one should feel good about beating your team.  Either the other team is a bunch of classless jerks who got help from the refs or you say Maryland is such a train wreck that nothing can be taken from the win.  What gives?

I've always chalked it up as the CFB version of being a Cleveland Browns fan.

See..you get me!
There is truth to my rants though.
I did say, it is what it is.
We're not there yet. Hell, maybe we never really get there, since I'm sure Durkin must be thinking we're a cursed program.
But, I stand by what I said, and even the part where OSU was screwed with the targeting call.

And let's not forget Kris, we had Ralph, and with him, we felt like we could beat a Top 25 team at any moment.

He played football the right way.

You mean the RPO play where the entire MD D ('cept 1), the fans, and Refs thought Dobbins has the ball for a TD? That play? Yah that is some funny bad reffing there.

As much as I also think OSU gets the benefit of the doubt in B1G refereeing:

1.  They've earned it, it's just simply how it goes.  I think many B1G fans of other teams have examples where those have gone both ways, tho.
2.  I've never seen a game where the refereeing would be the swing in a 50 point loss.

Maryland's in a tough spot.  Every team that can flat out blast them is going to for recruiting purposes of the DMV, particularly OSU and PSU.  If Franklin can do the same thing in November, best believe he will.
