Yep. NU should be top 15-20, and they would be if they were in the SEC.

They probably should be ranked, and I was shocked that they weren't.

Won't matter much starting this week, though.

I think it has more to do with the helmet (or lack thereof) than the conference.  My, the victimhood is strong with you guys, still.

Anybody else think that new stadium of Northwestern's has a real NFL-venue vibe?

The roof, maybe?

Looked it up, the GoOgleZ says it seats 35k.  Looked a lot bigger than that during broadcast.

Also, RG3 taught me a new word in that game......shawambobbling.  That man is goofy, but I learned to appreciate his broadcasts just to see what will fly out of his mouth.

That's what we're all hoping for.

The new Dyche Stadium feels like it could be in the Budeglisa or EPL.

I didn't want to say this before the game and jinx it but, as an Ohio State fan it seems to me that Iowa is never a threat when people are talking about them. They are a threat when nobody is talking about them.

GameDay has been to Iowa City three times, all when Ohio State came to town. Ohio State is 3-0 in those games and none were particularly competitive.

Iowa beats Ohio State now and then and even beats them badly sometimes but it is pretty much always when nobody thinks they have a chance.
I don't think anyone had illusions of this being a great Iowa team, including CGD. That's not why they went to Iowa City.

The win at Michigan turned my head about Iowa (I assume Iowa is good, but I also assume Iowa is not elite). I thought that showed Iowa was better than usual, i.e., really good (still not elite). But given the Minnesota and Western Michigan results, I'm starting to think Michigan just isn't up to its usual self. That team still has a bunch of great athletes, but it just isn't what we're used to. I also think that @Washington and @Northwestern are probably the toughest remaining games (the former because of the travel involved). I think Iowa is still pretty likely to finish between 10-2 and 9-3.
