Some of us grew up Cal fans (and had Stanford relatives who were very Stanford). 

Bunch of pompous preps and war criminals.

I think Ferd, Cal, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and ASU should have stayed in the PAC. That would look pretty good with OrSU, Wazzu, Boise and BYU. Ferd and Cal should go back anyway.

Kansas? Tech? KSU?

The XII lost its helmets too and managed to keep it together - and added half the PAC too.

I tend to agree. I think Cal’s football program is unfortunately the most vestigial one there is, so it’s hard to accept a step down because it opens up even more existential questions.
