encouraging folks to eat groceries and not McDonalds is good
sin tax on beer and cigarettes - maybe there should be a sin tax on fast food and other poor choices, like lotto tickets
Honestly this, right here, is exactly why the tax code is so complicated.

It starts with encouraging folks to eat groceries and discouraging people from drinking and smoking then it goes to discouraging fast food.

Pretty soon we have tax breaks for "green jobs" and the Egg Lobby wants tax breaks for chicken farmers and before you know it the tax code is 25,000 pages.

I'd like to see the crime exposed for what it was. Obama was also complicit, based on reports I've read. Of course, you'll see nothing on MSDNC, etc.

As much as I would love to see them indicted, it’s going to be hard to find a jurisdiction to actually indict them.

I think the only way they could be charged is for lying to Congress and that jurisdiction is DC which sees them as heroes.
none of these deep state cretin swamp creatures like Clapper or Brennan will ever see the inside of a prison cell where they belong.

When he was Obama's DNI James Clapper lied under oath to Congress and committed perjury 12 years ago in a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing and nothing ever happened to him. He got promoted and made millions of dollars giving speeches, doing consulting work, working for bullshit thinktanks, writing books, and being employed by CNN.

Regular Joe commits perjury to Congress their ass is going to jail.

“Disasters are a human choice”: Texas counties have little power to stop building in flood-prone areas

Experts suggested that more data and education are needed as Texas and the rest of the country build in known flood plains.

When you have infinite money, you get bored.  Doing illegal things give that hint of danger.
The famous/wealthy people at Epstein island got to experience a little danger, surrounded by 17 year olds.  They could reason it's not that bad, they're nearly 18.  A little perverted thrill.  Seeing another famous/wealthy person there, so you now have dirt on each other and a secret to keep, etc.

Same with P.Diddy....thinking of fucked-up shit he could get random whores to do.  What he could get his GF to do.  What he could get famous/wealthy people to do, who were bored and looking for a little danger.  Some risk.  Sexy risk.

I doubt it's any different than it's ever been.  Roman emperors did fucked up sexual shit all the time.  I assume all people with unlimited power and/or money have always done it.
yeah sure. except for the fact that the cases are nothing alike at all and Epstein was abusing girls as young as 13 years old.

it amazes me that people are so incurious. anyone can look into Esptein and in 15 minutes instantly find out the guy was an intelligence asset with links to CIA & Mossad dating back to the 1980s.

well. can't blame the guy. better to plead than fifth than lie under oath and commit the crime of perjury. it was clear to anybody with an IQ over 20 even during the run up to the 2020 election that Biden's brain had melted into the double chocolate chunk ice cream he loves so much and that he was senile as all hell....you don't think his personal physician knew lol.

How would the doctor incriminate himself by answering some questions?  Did he somehow break a law?

do you seriously have to ask that? sometimes I wonder about you...

he would incriminate himself if he lied at all under oath to Congress in the closed door hearings. he obviously does not want to do that.

it's pretty clear ol' Doc here was covering for Biden's mental and physical health in order to keep the guy in the White House and out of the nursing home.

Sure, if he perjured himself, that's a crime.  What if he simply tells the truth?  I don't think he previously told Congress anything under oath.

He could use HIPPA.

It would open up a huge can of worms with the prior WH staff and the use of the autopen.
